Continuing Education for Title Insurance Producers

Title Insurance Producers must complete 16 credit hours of continuing education.  At least 3 hours of continuing education must be in the category of Ethics.  A non-resident producer from a non-reciprocal state must comply with Maryland’s continuing education requirements.  You should complete your continuing education process before the expiration of your renewal application.  Maryland Title Insurance Producers who are Maryland Attorneys admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland are exempt from the title continuing education requirement. All Continuing education courses require the successful completion of a course exam before your completion can be report to the Maryland Insurance Administration.  Each course exam consists of 25 questions.  The passing score is 70%.
